ISKCON Youth Forum Patna (IYF Patna) is the youth wing of ISKCON Patna and operates from Sri Sri Radha Banke Bihari Temple, Buddha Marg, Patna - 800001, Bihar, India. IYF Patna is not a separate legal entity; it functions under ISKCON Patna and its Temple Management Council.

Information you give us: when you register for a program, course or festival, or create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number and, where relevant to the activity, your college or city.

Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as your browser type, device type, approximate region and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the site working and secure, not to build a profile of you. Separately, the Meta Pixel described under "Cookies and local storage" below also records which pages you open here and reports that to Meta.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We do not collect biometric or health information, and we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Course donations and seva offerings are collected on this site through Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment gateway. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by iyfpatna.in. We receive only the payment status, the amount, the transaction reference and the payment method type (for example UPI or card), which we keep with your enrolment or donation as the record of payment.

Razorpay handles your payment details under its own privacy policy, published at razorpay.com.

Vrindavan Yatra bookings are taken on the yatra's own website, which publishes its own privacy, refund and terms pages.

When you make a seva offering on our donate page, we ask for your name, mobile number, email address, postal address and PIN code, and optionally your PAN. These are not optional extras: a donation receipt is a tax document, and the address and PAN are what allow the 80G receipt and Form 10BE to be issued in your name. The money itself is received by ISKCON Patna, the registered public trust, and we collect it on the temple's behalf.

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries that are necessary for the site to work: your language preference (Hindi or English), your light or dark theme choice, and, if you sign in, a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

We also use the Meta Pixel, so that we can tell which of our Facebook and Instagram appeals actually lead to a seva offering, and so that the temple is not spending money advertising to people who have already given. It sets two cookies (_fbp and _fbc) that identify your browser to Meta, and it records which pages you open on this site and whether you completed a donation.

When a donation is completed we also report it to Meta from our own server, because a payment made in a UPI app often never returns to this website. That report contains the amount, the seva it was given towards and the receipt number, along with your name, email address, phone number and PIN code converted into an irreversible code (a hash). Meta uses the hashed details only to recognise whether you are someone who was shown one of our appeals; it cannot read the original values back from them. Your PAN and your postal address are never sent to Meta or to any other advertising service.

If you would rather not be measured this way, you can block advertising cookies in your browser settings, use any standard content blocker, or adjust your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. Nothing on this site requires the pixel: every page, the seva list and the whole donation flow work exactly the same with it blocked.

We do not sell your data to advertisers, and we do not use any of it to advertise anything other than IYF Patna's own programs and seva appeals.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this site: a database host to store registrations, an authentication provider to manage sign-in, an email provider to send confirmation messages and receipts, Razorpay to process course donations and seva offerings, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure our own appeals as described under cookies above. These providers process data only on our instructions and only to deliver their part of the service.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Registration records are kept as long as needed to run the activity and to maintain our attendance and community records. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it for a legitimate record-keeping reason.

You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you updates. Write to the contact address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Photographs and video are often taken at our festivals and programs and may be published on this site or on our social media. If you would prefer not to appear, please tell a coordinator at the event or write to us and we will remove the image.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed.
